โช๏ธ Chevron, Qatar-based UCC Holding, and the Syrian Petroleum Company have identified an offshore block for Syriaโs first deep-water oil and gas exploration project.
โช๏ธ The project is part of efforts to attract foreign investment into Syriaโs energy sector following years of war and sanctions.
โช๏ธ The Syrian Petroleum Company said the step follows a preliminary agreement signed in February to evaluate offshore exploration in Syrian waters.
โช๏ธ The move marks an initial phase toward technical preparation and potential development of offshore resources in the eastern Mediterranean.

Housing Deposit Payment to War Victims
Deputy Minister of Roads and Urban Development during a visit to Shajareh Tayebeh Primary School in Minab:
Housing loan deposits for repairing and rebuilding homes damaged or destroyed in the war will be paid from 400 million to 2 billion Tomans.
This loan, commensurate with the rates in counties, provincial capitals, and metropolitan areas, will be paid to property owners with established cases from the mortgage funds provided to housing banks.
The construction of destroyed homes in metropolitan areas is the responsibility of municipalities, and in other counties of the country, it is spearheaded by the Housing Foundation.
